My art

I create modern art for your home. In addition to pastel works that radiate lightness, I also enjoy creating works that consist of exciting details and layers. I love working with different media on raw canvas.

It's time to inspire

"Take the brush in your hand, follow the colors of my feelings, come alive"
(Marion Theresa)

This sentence describes my work quite well. My works arise from an inner impulse and are particularly guided by emotions and feelings.
As a trained happiness teacher, I have been interested in the term “happiness” for a long time.
Through art and creative work I have found my inner happiness and my self-efficacy.
Happiness has a lot to do with personal development and this is also reflected in my paintings. In every painting there is joy of life and well-being, because these have always been important goals of mine.
I want my paintings to give you joy of life and well-being, because after all, you choose paintings for your home that you associate with, that trigger a certain feeling or that simply make your own four walls more comfortable. This also has something to do with well-being. After all, you want to feel comfortable at home.

“The world is full of little joys. The trick is to see them.”
In our hectic times, it is even more important to take breaks, feel the moment and perceive yourself. With my paintings I would like to help you slow down your everyday life and become more aware of the small, beautiful things in life.

Focus on the little moments of happiness. Take a look at my paintings, maybe you will discover a moment of happiness in one of my paintings and would like to capture it?

My story

I am a passionate artist and rediscovered art on a trip to Italy in 2021. Even as a teacher, I came into contact with art a lot, but only passively. The picturesque streets of Malcesine on Lake Garda with their many galleries made my heart beat faster. After my return trip, I couldn't help but buy canvases and brushes and get active myself. In 2022 I tried a lot of different techniques and it took me a while to find my style. At least I was clear about what style I wanted to pursue. I got stuck on raw canvases. For me, these natural materials, whether cotton or linen, have a special appeal. I love furnishings that radiate naturalness and minimalism. This also includes materials from nature. The colors are particularly effective on a raw fabric. I prefer to paint with pastel colors and light brush strokes to give my paintings a certain lightness. Lightness is also a big keyword in my life.
During my burnout and depression, I decided to give up my job as a primary school teacher and also leave my civil servant status behind. I made this decision when I traveled a lot in the van through Europe during my sabbatical and this different concept of life showed me that life has so much more to offer.
I founded my Instagram page at the end of January 2023 and am very happy that I took this step. My paintings have already found a place in many parts of Europe and it always makes me happy to see that my art touches people, makes others happy and that my message behind the paintings reaches you.
By leaving the civil service and starting my own business in the summer of 2024, I gave up my security to some extent, but I moved more towards freedom and meaning. And that somehow feels right.
